About the role

Position: Network Support Engineer We are seeking a Network Support Engineer to provide ongoing managed services support for a major automotive client. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving network infrastructure while supporting day-to-day operations and network-related projects.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure across LAN/WAN environments. Support IP, VoIP, routing, switching, and other network technologies across multiple platforms. Diagnose network connectivity, performance, and configuration issues and implement effective resolutions. Install, configure, and support network equipment, including routers, switches, controllers, and related technologies. Work with vendors and service providers on equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Participate in network implementation, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects. Develop and test proof-of-concept solutions to evaluate new networking technologies and address business requirements. Analyze technical requirements and contribute to network architecture and solution design. Assist with project planning, cost analysis, technology evaluations, and vendor comparisons. Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and network support materials. Provide technical guidance and training to users and support teams as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and increased network reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience supporting enterprise networking environments and managed services. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and VoIP technologies. Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving experience. Knowledge of network hardware, operating systems, and network management tools. Ability to work with vendors and coordinate technical activities. Strong communication, collaboration, and customer-service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and design-thinking capabilities. Experience with automation or scripting is a plus. English language proficiency required.
