About the role
Environmental Remediation Scientist / Project Manager – NYC
Growing environmental consulting firm is seeking an Environmental Remediation Scientist / Project Manager for its NYC office. This is a great opportunity for an experienced environmental professional with strong Phase I/II ESA, site investigation, remediation, and project management experience.
Responsibilities:
Manage environmental remediation and site investigation projects Perform and oversee Phase I/II ESAs, sampling, subsurface investigations, and remediation activities Prepare technical reports, work plans, and regulatory documentation Coordinate with clients, contractors, agencies, and subcontractors Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff
Qualifications:
5+ years of environmental consulting/remediation experience Strong Phase I/II ESA and subsurface investigation experience Experience with NY environmental regulations and regulatory agencies preferred Strong technical writing and project management skills Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related fieldNYC-area experience preferred Hybrid schedule: 2 days remote / 3 days in the NYC office.#Environmental #Remediation #Scientist #Project Manager #NYC #Hybrid
