Job Description:
Client Legal Operations is seeking a Legal Technology Analyst (Contractor) to support the ongoing evolution and optimization of enterprise Contract Lifecycle Management ("CLM") platform. This individual will partner closely with Legal Operations, Legal, IT, and business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, design, and implement enhancements that improve contracting processes, user adoption, reporting, AI capabilities, and contract document management. The ideal candidate combines legal domain knowledge with hands-on legal technology implementation experience and thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. This role will play a key part in managing and executing CLM Continuous Improvement Roadmap, supporting both strategic initiatives and day-to-day enhancement activities that drive increased adoption, efficiency, and business value from the CLM platform.
Responsibilities:
Support intake and evaluation of CLM enhancement requests Facilitate discovery sessions with legal and business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify opportunities for automation Maintain and update the Continuous Improvement Roadmap, including status tracking, business value assessments, and implementation planning Participate in special projects related to legal technology modernization and digital transformation initiatives Support the configuration and development of end-to-end contracting workflows within the CLM platform, including analyzing contract templates and clause libraries, documenting current-state and future-state processes, defining workflow requirements and metadata structures, and building, testing, and maintaining no-code workflow solutions that streamline contract creation, negotiation, approval, signature, and repository management Conduct requirements gathering workshops and stakeholder interviews Document process requirements, user stories, and design recommendations Support training, office hours, user communications, and adoption activities Develop user guides and process documentation
Skills:
Strong understanding of contract lifecycle processes, including intake, drafting, negotiation, execution, repository management, and reporting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Familiarity with workflow design and process automation Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technology solutions Knowledge of AI-enabled contract review, contract intelligence, or legal technology solutions Comfort facilitating workshops and presenting recommendations to stakeholders Strong customer-service mindset with a passion for driving user adoption and continuous improvement Ability to operate effectively in an evolving environment where priorities may shift based on business needs
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Legal Operations, Contract Management, CLM administration, legal technology, legal administration or a related discipline Practical experience supporting legal software or SaaS platform implementation Experience implementing or administering a CLM platform such as Workday CLM (Evisort), Ironclad, Agiloft, Icertis, Sirion, Conga, Docu Sign CLM, or similar platforms Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or Jira preferred Experience with contract migration projects and metadata extraction initiatives preferred Experience working in a global organization with multiple business stakeholders preferred Participation in at least one CLM implementation or major legal technology deployment preferred Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business, Information Systems, Political Science, Public Policy, or a related field preferred
