About the role

Primary Responsibilities: We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join the Social Creative team, with a primary focus on social-first storytelling, content creation, and ideation. This role is responsible for concepting, designing, and executing social content that supports brand and business objectives, while helping to evolve the visual language across social platforms in a modern, culturally relevant, and platform-appropriate way.
Key responsibilities include: Concept and execute social-first creative across platforms including Instagram, Tik Tok, and emerging social channels Partner with the Social Director to support social grid planning and maintain a cohesive visual narrative across the feed Design static assets and image crops in alignment with brand guidelines, with the ability to support light motion or video edits as needed. Collaborate cross-functionally with Copywriters, Video Editors, Art Directors, and Producers to deliver creative solutions Manage the release of final creative assets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to production workflows and timelines (Dash Hudson experience a plus)Support photo retouching needs, including providing clear, actionable retouching notes and feedback Create animations and edit video content as needed to support social storytelling and content deliverables
About You: You are a creative, detail-oriented designer with a strong interest in social media and content-driven storytelling. You maintain awareness of current social trends, platforms, and formats, and understand how to apply them appropriately within a luxury beauty brand environment. You work effectively within cross-functional teams and are comfortable partnering with Copywriters, Video Editors, Art Directors, and Producers throughout the creative process. You bring a strong eye for color, typography, motion, and composition, along with a solid understanding of brand consistency and visual standards. You are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and deliver work on deadline. You demonstrate curiosity, accountability, and a collaborative mindset, and are motivated to continue developing your creative skills and technical expertise.
Qualifications: 2–5+ years of relevant professional experience; beauty or social-focused experience preferred Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline Proficiency in Figma, Cap Cut, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro Experience capturing social content using an iPhone or DSLR camera is a plusA strong online portfolio demonstrating social, content-driven, and conceptual design work An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture is a must.
