Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Podiatristto join our mobile care team in Charleston, SC. This role is ideal for someone looking to supplement their current schedule while making a meaningful impact in underserved communities. All administrative and logistical responsibilities—including equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing—are fully managed by CMC. This is an independent contractor position, allowing you to focus on patient care without the burdens of running a private practice.
Key Responsibilities: Provide routine foot care, wound care, and treatment for diabetic-related complications. Diagnose and manage podiatric conditions commonly affecting geriatric patients. Educate patients and/or facility staff on preventive care and condition management. Ensure a respectful, safe, and comfortable environment tailored to geriatric needs.
Qualifications: Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree. Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience; geriatric or mobile care experience preferred. Knowledge of diabetic foot care and wound management best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and adapt to facility-based care settings.
