Billing Analyst – 100% Remote Full-Time | MDM | Remote
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pacific or Mountain TimeMDM is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Billing Analyst to join our team. This is a 100% remote, full-time position that plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely client billing through invoice preparation and review, data analysis, timekeeping audits, reconciliations, reporting, and follow-up. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, comfortable working with large amounts of data, and able to identify discrepancies and follow issues through to resolution. Because this is a fully remote position, we are looking for someone who is self-motivated, dependable, responsive, and comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities and recurring deadlines. This position maintains regular office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, Pacific or Mountain Time, and requires consistent availability and responsiveness during those hours. Candidates must have prior remote work experience with a demonstrated ability to successfully manage their workload, stay engaged and responsive, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment. A designated workspace that allows for focused, professional work with minimal distractions and appropriate confidentiality is also required.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and process client invoices for accuracy and completeness Review accounts receivable reports and follow up on outstanding or pending billing items Coordinate collection of timesheets and supporting documentation for billing deadlines Audit employee time, assignments, rates, allowances, and related data for accuracy Reconcile billing, timekeeping, and AR data and investigate discrepancies Perform recurring unbilled analysis and prepare billing and supporting reports Review invoice backup and client-specific billing requirements Process invoice corrections and assist with resolving billing issues Maintain billing trackers, job codes, procedures, and client billing requirements Coordinate with employees, project managers, clients, and internal teams to resolve outstanding items Assist with client onboarding and related administrative requirements Identify opportunities to improve billing processes, accuracy, and efficiency
