Riverhounds Development Academy Photography Intern — Spring 2027 Riverhounds Development Academy | Pittsburgh, PA Program Dates: February 2027 through the end of the spring semester Position Overview The Riverhounds Development Academy is seeking a Photography Intern to capture the players, coaches, and experiences that make our academy special. This internship offers hands-on experience in sports photography, visual storytelling, and marketing content production. The intern will photograph academy practices, games, training programs, camps, and other events, creating images for academy social media, website content, promotional materials, and communications. This role is dedicated to the Riverhounds Development Academy and is ideal for a student interested in sports photography and building a professional portfolio.
Duties & Responsibilities: Photograph academy practices, games, camps, training sessions, and events. Capture action photography, candid moments, portraits, and details that tell the academy's story. Edit and deliver organized photo galleries within agreed deadlines. Work with the academy marketing team to fulfill photography needs for campaigns and upcoming programs. Organize and label images so staff can easily locate and use them. Follow academy guidelines for photographing youth participants and using approved images.
Qualifications: Currently enrolled in college and eligible to receive academic credit. Working knowledge of camera settings, composition, lighting, and photo editing. Ability to capture fast-moving subjects; sports photography experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organization, and reliability. Ability to take direction and work independently. Availability to attend academy activities, including evenings and weekends.
