Position: Enterprise Architect
Location: NY (Onsite twice a week)
Duration: 6-11 Months contract
Required Skills: TOGAF, Zachman, Archimate, Technology Road Map, Future state design, GAP analysis, Architecture governance.
Job Description: -Responsible for defining and governing target-state architecture across business, application, data, and technology domains. The role ensures that strategic change, platform evolution, and delivery initiatives align to enterprise principles, simplify the landscape, reduce duplication, and improve control, resilience, and reuse across the organisation.
Responsibilities: Define and maintain enterprise architecture vision, roadmaps, and target-state designs. Translate business strategy into pragmatic architecture direction and investment priorities. Provide governance over major change initiatives, solution designs, and technology choices. Drive simplification, standardisation, and rationalisation across applications, data, and integration patterns. Partner with business, engineering, data, security, and operations stakeholders to shape cross-domain outcomes. Establish and promote architecture principles, standards, patterns, and reference models. Assess current-state capabilities, identify gaps, risks, and dependencies, and recommend transition plans. Support regulatory, control, resilience, and risk-management objectives through sound architectural design. Encourage innovation, including data, AI, and automation opportunities, while maintaining appropriate governance. Preferred-A technology background is desirable, someone with previous IB background will be a plus.
