About the role
- Speak with homeowners about their water-quality concerns
- Ask questions to understand whether the home uses municipal or well water
- Identify common concerns such as hardness, chlorine, odor, discoloration, sediment, taste, and drinking-water quality
- Recommend appropriate solutions including:
- Whole-house carbon filtration
- Water conditioning / salt-free systems
- Reverse osmosis drinking-water systems
- Explain system features, benefits, pricing, and installation process clearly
- Follow up with prospective customers
- Handle common customer questions and objections
- Maintain accurate lead and customer information
- Coordinate completed sales with the Virtus installation team
- Provide a professional, educational, and low-pressure customer experience
- Preferred Experience We are especially interested in candidates with experience selling:
- Residential water softeners or conditioners
- Whole-house water filtration systems
- Carbon filtration
- Reverse osmosis systems
- Well-water treatment systems
- Home improvement or other high-ticket residential services
- Has strong residential sales experience
- Understands water-treatment terminology and basic system design
- Is comfortable selling remotely by phone or video
- Speaks and writes English professionally
- Can explain technical concepts in simple terms
- Is confident following up and closing sales
- Is organized and comfortable using a CRMHas a consultative approach rather than a high-pressure sales style
- Is comfortable working with customers during U.S. business hours
