Beyond leading complex, cross-functional programs end to end, the Project Manager Lead provides day-to-day leadership and mentorship to a small team of project managers and/or business analysts — setting standards, removing roadblocks, and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery. The role communicates with both internal departments and third-party vendors along with business partners to ensure the overall team's successful delivery of prioritizing projects . A core focus of this position is leading Salesforce platform programs, coordinating configuration, integration, data, and release activities across business and technical teams.What We're Looking ForLead large, complex program initiatives and multiple concurrent projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes and continuous value delivery.Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of project managers and/or business analysts — setting delivery standards, allocating work, removing roadblocks, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.Serve as the program lead for Salesforce initiatives, partnering with administrators, developers, integration teams, and business owners to plan and deliver configuration, customization, data, and release activities across the platform.Work closely with business units, technology teams, and third-party vendors to ensure business requirements are met while following best practices.Evaluate the firm's current delivery posture and spearhead enhancements to policies, processes, and tools.Document program strategy, roadmaps, and key milestones as improvements are implemented.Define key program metrics and KPIs to measure success and inform strategic decisions.Champion the program, ensuring that business partners understand the importance of sound practices to support their business initiatives.Monitor and track the progress of all related projects, proactively managing risks, dependencies, budgets, and timelines.Function as the liaison between other departments and third-party vendors with respect to projects and processes.Research changes and developments within the industry and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.Communicate the business value of technology solutions to executives and stakeholders, demonstrating impact on efficiency, cost, and customer experience.Provide high-level decisions and guidance with respect to projects and other work-related items.What You'll BringProven ability to lead and develop teams of project managers and/or business analysts and to manage large, cross-functional program initiatives.Experience leading Salesforce platform programs (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or comparable), coordinating configuration, integration, data, and release management across teams.Expertise in project and program management best practices, including planning, budgeting, risk, and dependency management.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make presentations to audiences including senior management.Ability to influence and build consensus among stakeholders with varying objectives and to resolve conflicts constructively.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.Experience with data-driven decision making, using metrics and KPIs to guide strategy and execution.Ability to analyze existing capabilities and emerging trends and recommend improvements.Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with both internal and external clients.Education & ExperienceMinimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business or a technical field.Minimum Required: 10+ years related experience in Information Technology, including demonstrated program management and team leadership experience.Preferred: Experience delivering Salesforce programs in a financial services or other regulated environment.Licenses & CredentialsPreferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent program management certification; Salesforce certification (e.g., Salesforce Administrator).Systems & TechnologyProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Experience with project/program management tooling and the Salesforce platform.#LI-LL1Compensation RangeSalary: USD $138,200.00/Yr. - USD $190,000.00/Yr. Actual salaries may vary, and may be based on several factors, including but not limited to each candidate's qualifications, skills, and overall competencies for the position. The base salary is one component of Stifel's overall compensation package for each individual employee.
