Job Description: Linen Sorter – Production Facility
Schedule: Full-time | Overtime as needed1St Shift: 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM $17.50 per hour2nd Shift: 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM $18.50 per hour
Position Overview: We are hiring Linen Sorters to support daily production operations. This role is responsible for accurately sorting soiled linen on a moving conveyor belt and placing items into the correct slings or carts. You must follow standard operating procedures while meeting quality and production expectations. This is a fast-paced, physical position that requires reliability, focus, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort soiled linen from a moving conveyor belt accurately and efficiently
  • Place linen into designated slings/carts based on classification
  • Meet established quality and production standards
  • Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow directions from team leads and supervisors
  • Work cooperatively with a diverse workforce
  • Remain flexible to work past scheduled hours when production requires
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Cross-train in other production areas as needed
  • Qualifications & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift
  • Strong manual dexterity for repetitive sorting tasks
  • Ability to bend, twist, lift, and pull consistently throughout the day
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory
