Business ClassificationsB2BAbout the RoleThe Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development and Earned Revenue to develop and validate revenue models that support its mission and long-term financial sustainability. The role will identify promising offerings and buyers, conduct customer and market discovery, build business cases, and run paid experiments to test demand, pricing, and delivery economics. The executive will personally secure early customer engagements, turn validated opportunities into repeatable offerings, and recommend which initiatives to grow, refine, or discontinue. Working across teams and with organizational leadership, the VP will guide investment decisions, establish revenue and learning goals, and build the capabilities needed for sustainable growth. Candidates should have at least 12 years of experience in business development, commercial strategy, or new business creation, including executive-level responsibility and a record of building a business line from an early stage. Required strengths include customer discovery, sales and contract negotiation, commercial experimentation, pricing, financial modeling, forecasting, and evaluating delivery costs and margins. The role also calls for experience collaborating across product, technology, and delivery teams; leading teams and cross-functional work; and communicating recommendations clearly to senior leaders and a board. A collaborative, adaptable approach, sound judgment in aligning commercial opportunities with mission, and curiosity about responsible use of emerging AI tools are important. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
