Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (Part-Time) O'Fallon, ILSchedule = Mon-Fri 1045am-445pmHope has a very supportive and kind environment. We have great leaders, BCBAs, and RBTs. Another is you really do become attached to the kids. They are all so wonderful and seeing them learn and change is amazing! I have been with Hope for 3 years and have seen many kids who had no form of communication start talking! That is really something amazing that Hope does. I can't even imagine how relieving it must feel for families. What You Will Do: Work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the Hope Autism Clinic to teach children with ASD using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).Effectively communicate with families/guardians about their child's progress. Work with the treatment team to track session data and help clients achieve individualized communication and early learning goals. Assist with planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities. Model professional appearance and attitudes.
What You Will Bring: Must be 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma or equivalent background clearance. What We Prefer: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a psychology, education, or human services related field. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities. Enthusiasm for working with children.
