Production Technician III
Location:
Binghamton, NY, US, 13905 Business Unit: Power & Data Systems The Production Technician III is a skilled manufacturing professional responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting electro-mechanical and/or electronic products.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform assembly, integration, and testing of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and/or electronic assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, schematics, and production issues, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions. Support quality objectives by identifying nonconforming material and collaborating with Quality and Engineering teams. Perform functional testing, inspections, and verification activities. Accurately complete production and ERP a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred. Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.8+ years of experience in a production technician or manufacturing role. Work Environment Requirements:
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials consistent with production requirements. Work performed primarily in a manufacturing environment.
