Essential Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for accounting operations, including activities such as: general ledger, financial reporting, banking, receivables, payables, inventory, fixed assets, intangibles, lease accounting, and multiple system integrations.
Prepare, review, analyze and help distributing monthly financial statements.
Responsible for the month-end and year-end close process for entire accounting department.
Review, analyze and balance the lease accounting each month.
Assists with technical research and prepare policies and procedures on issues related to various accounting topics.
Prepare Federal Tax expenses, State & Local tax filings, and maintain supporting documentation.
Prepare and process monthly journal entries.
Reconcile general ledger accounts.
Assist with the annual budget process preparation, providing variance analysis, and supplying financial and management reporting through effective use of systems.
Serves as a subject matter expert and mentor to the Accounting team.
Assist with special projects or other duties as assigned.
Contributes to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions, positive contributions, and active collaboration to achieve department and organizational goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities None
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in business, accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experience
4+ years’ experience in accounting and accounting system technologies
Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years’ experience in travel, insurance, or membership organization preferred
Experience in public accounting preferred
ERP or similar technology experience preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations CPA or CMA preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Advanced knowledge of accounting procedures, including financial statements and taxes.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management
Experienced in using and supporting accounting systems, ERP platforms, and financial applications.
Ability to address multiple demands and competing priorities in a changing environment
Skilled in excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage deadlines.
Salary Pay range: $88,026-$101,286

Work Environment & Physical Demands Hybrid work from home and office is required.
The physical environment is typical of a standard office space. It requires the employee to work inside for the duration of work. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, sitting for more than 50% of the time. This position will require occasionally moving about inside the office to access equipment, cabinets, etc. May work around office equipment which could be noisy, such as copiers and fax machines.
Other Equipment used: Laptop, mobile phone, various virtual technologies and programs, other office equipment.
Travel: Rarely travel
