About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to lead commercial asphalt and paving projects from preconstruction through final completion. This role combines estimating, project management, and field coordination to successfully deliver parking lot construction, asphalt paving, maintenance, and repair projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with strong knowledge of asphalt operations who thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and bid proposals for commercial asphalt paving, milling, sealcoating, striping, patching, and repairs Manage projects from bid award through closeout, including budgeting, scheduling, and execution Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, trucking logistics, and material suppliers Monitor job costs, production rates, material usage, and profitability Track and manage change orders, contract documentation, and project reporting Conduct site visits, pre-construction planning meetings, and ongoing field coordination Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control requirements Communicate effectively with property managers, general contractors, and internal operations teams Requirements Proven experience in asphalt paving project management and/or estimating Strong understanding of asphalt materials, paving operations, milling, sealcoating, and production methods Ability to manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously Proficiency in reading blueprints, site plans, and project scopes Strong budgeting, scheduling, and cost-control skills Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency preferred) Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Professional, client-facing communication skills Preferred Experience Background in commercial site work, parking lot construction, or roadway paving Experience working with property management groups or general contractors Knowledge of DOT or commercial project standards Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) and company holidays Stable pipeline of commercial paving and maintenance projects Long-term career growth and advancement opportunities Supportive, safety-focused work environment Apply directly to be considered for immediate review.
