About the role
Managing Director | New YorkTYG is partnering with a leading global advisory firm seeking to appoint a Managing Director within its investigations practice in New York. This is a senior leadership opportunity combining complex engagement delivery, client relationship management, business development and the continued growth of an established investigations practice. The successful individual will bring a strong market profile and an established client base generating more than $2 million in annual revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead complex engagements across forensic investigations, financial crime compliance, fraud prevention, business intelligence and risk management Act as the senior client contact, providing clear and robust advice on sensitive and high-risk matters Oversee the full engagement lifecycle, including scoping, proposals, budgeting, resource allocation, delivery, quality assurance and invoicing Develop new client relationships and identify opportunities for cross-practice collaboration Direct multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality work within agreed budgets and timelines Provide expert analysis of complex situations, financial information and investigative findings Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, risk management and quality Mentor and develop professionals across the investigations team Contribute to the strategy, financial performance and continued growth of the practice Requirements 10+ years of relevant experience in forensic investigations, financial crime compliance or a related advisory field An established and portable client base generating $2 million or more in annual revenue Strong record of developing new business and managing senior client relationships Bachelor’s or master’s degree Experience leading complex forensic accounting, data analytics or fraud investigation engagements Commercially minded, with experience preparing proposals and overseeing engagement financials Strong leadership, organizational and project management skills Excellent research, analytical and report-writing capabilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Active involvement in relevant professional associations within fraud investigations, forensic technology or a related discipline Why Join?
