Machine Maintenance Technician - $18.00-$24.00/HOUR BOE A West El Paso company is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician! Primary responsibility will be maintaining and repairing industrial production and processing machinery.
Responsibilities: Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery, and keep an updated record of maintenance checks Use hand-held power tools safely and correctly, including grinders, drills, and impact wrenches Perform basic welds and follow proper welding safety protocols Identify, document, and report equipment damage or issues to your supervisor Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and all applicable safety policies Conduct routine visual inspections of equipment and communicate findings clearly Keep the tool room clean and organized, and keep an up-to-date cleaning and maintenance schedule for all assigned machinery Complete a forklift pre- and post-use maintenance checklist daily if operating a forklift (only if certified)
