About The Job: As an Exercise Physiologist in our Cardiopulmonary Rehab department, you will play a vital role in helping patients safely regain strength and improve cardiovascular and pulmonary health through personalized exercise programs and education.
What You’ll Do: Administer 6-Minute Walk Tests and Timed Get Up and Go assessments.- Develop and lead individualized and group exercise sessions.- Create home exercise programs tailored to patient needs.- Educate patients on telemetry monitoring, pulse taking, and cardiac risk reduction.- Schedule new patients and maintain timely documentation.- Respond to emergency situations within scope of practice.- Deliver community education programs and stay current with evidence-based practices.
Who You Are: Degree in Exercise Science.- Current BCLS certification.- Basic knowledge of nutrition, cardiac and pulmonary anatomy.- Skilled in assessing BP, HR, and O2 saturation.- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.- Strong communicator with the ability to multitask and prioritize patient care.
