We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician on a direct hire basis to join our growing client in Sussex, WI. In this role, you will support quality assurance initiatives throughout the manufacturing process, helping ensure products meet internal quality standards and customer requirements.-Pay: Up to $29/hr-Schedule: Full-Time-Location: Sussex, WI
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, control plans, and work instructions to ensure products meet quality standards. Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of products on the manufacturing floor. Identify quality concerns, investigate issues, and assist with corrective actions. Manage the MRB (Material Review Board) hold area and provide status updates. Complete inspection reports, nonconformance reports, and other quality documentation. Support quality activities at both the Sussex and Grafton facilities as needed. Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and company safety standards. Follow established procedures and 5S housekeeping practices.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or quality-related experience. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience using inspection tools and measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. CMM operation experience preferred. ASQ Certification preferred. Occasional travel between facilities may be required.
