About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Electrical/Systems Engineer to develop advanced battery systems from concept through prototype, testing, and validation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop battery system architecture, requirements, and interfaces Work with BMS, battery modules/packs, power electronics, and electrical systems Review electrical schematics, wiring, protection, and component selections Lead system integration, prototype testing, debugging, and validation Perform functional safety, risk analysis, and fault/protection assessments Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams and support design reviews Manage system requirements and verification/validation activities
What We’re Looking For:
BS/MS in Electrical, Systems, Electronics, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering 7+ years of complex product development experience Strong experience with Battery/BMS, electrical architecture, power electronics, and system integration Experience taking products from development through testing and validation Requirements management experience; DOORS or Codebeamer is a plus Aerospace, defense, automotive, or other mission-critical experience preferred Strong hands-on troubleshooting and technical leadership skillsU.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder required
