Full time - Temporary to HireJones Networking is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to support a busy Towson Personal Injury Attorney. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who can independently manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement while providing exceptional client service.
Legal Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and regular case updates.- Manage personal injury files from intake through settlement.- Open and maintain case files and ensure all information is accurate and up to date.- Obtain and organize medical records, medical bills, police reports, wage loss documentation, and other supporting records.- Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing parties.- Draft correspondence, settlement packages, and other legal documents.- Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding requests to keep cases progressing.- Prepare files for attorney review and assist with settlement-related documentation.- Maintain accurate records within the firm's case management system.
Legal Administrative Assistant Qualifications:
At least 5 years experience supporting a Personal Injury Attorney in a law firm environment.- Strong understanding of the personal injury process from intake and case opening through settlement.- Experience obtaining medical records, reviewing case documentation, and preparing settlement demands.- Knowledge of insurance claims and settlement procedures.- Proficiency with NEOS case management software.- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and provide compassionate customer service.- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.- Self-starter who can prioritize workload, work independently, and take initiative.- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
