Senior Automation Engineer
Location: Denver, Colorado Help establish a new US manufacturing and test capability for advanced space hardware. We’re looking for a hands-on engineer to develop production processes, design tooling and test equipment, and support the assembly, integration and testing of solar array hardware. Automation experience is highly desirable. Candidates from space, electric vehicles, robotics, mechanical engineering and other high-tech hardware industries are welcome.
The role: Help commission a new facility and production line. Improve manufacturing and test processes, introducing automation where valuable. Design and build fixtures, tooling and test rigs. Assemble, integrate and test mechanical and electromechanical hardware. Troubleshoot problems and deliver practical engineering improvements.
What you’ll bring: 5+ years in automation, manufacturing, integration, testing or complex hardware development. Strong hands-on engineering and problem-solving skills. Experience with tooling, test equipment and process development. CAD proficiency, ideally Solid Works, and knowledge of GD&T.A relevant engineering degree.
