Details Outpatient hand clinic setting across two locations: 3 days at CHH Building and 2 days at Beaverton Clinic Day shift schedule, 5x 8 hours, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-6:00pm No floating required for this position Patient population includes adult hand injury, nerve injury, tendon repair, reattachment, upper and lower extremity, and orthopedic soft tissue injuries Utilizes Epic charting system Performs custom splinting including functional splints, orthoplast, and static splints Uses modalities including electrical stimulation, paraffin bath, and ultrasound Requirements Minimum 2 years of hand therapy experience required CHT (Certified Hand Therapist) certification required BLS certification required Epic charting experience required Expertise in custom splinting required Expertise in complex hand trauma and surgeries required Valid state license required if applicable No new graduates will be considered Must complete Relias exam with a score of 85% or higher Must provide two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months (charge RN references not accepted) Must provide complete 7-year work history including city, state, dates of employment, and reason for any gaps Copies of certifications required (BLS/ACLS via AHA, RQI not accepted)
Additional Information: Main responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, splinting, and patient/family education for hand and upper extremity conditions COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions accepted Accepts local candidates at the same rate with no radius restriction Candidates may float to a nearby affiliate hospital as needed; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation RTO must be submitted upfront and cannot exceed 2 weeks First-time travelers will be considered for this position Former OHSU employees or previous travelers must have a reference completed by their prior OHSU manager Candidates must be gone at least 6 months to return as a traveler Comprehensive lifetime background check required; no background or license hits accepted American Traveler Job ID P-763405.
