About the role

Seeking a Full-Cycle Lumber Trader who will manage the entire trading cycle, from sourcing and selling lumber to developing strong relationships with mills and customers, in a remote environment with a base salary draw plus uncapped monthly commission. Key responsibilities Manage the full trading cycle by sourcing lumber from mills and selling to various customers Develop and maintain relationships with pine mills and suppliers while expanding existing customer accounts Negotiate pricing, terms, and volume to maximize profitability while monitoring market conditions Required qualifications Experience in lumber trading, sales, or wholesale building materials Strong preference for candidates with Southern Yellow Pine or dimensional lumber experience Proven relationships with lumber mills and wholesale customers Understanding of lumber markets, pricing, inventory, and margins 5-10 years of relevant experience preferred, with flexibility for candidates with the right market knowledge and track record
