$1591.20/week -Job Summary: Seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our clinical lab team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: Perform microbiology, blood bank, and other laboratory testing with accuracy and efficiency. Conduct gram stains, culture plate inoculations, and blood cultures as required. Collect quality blood samples through proficient phlebotomy techniques. Rotate through weekend and holiday shifts, including Thursday night, while maintaining adherence to safety protocols. Maintain proficiency in Covid-19 safety regulations, PPE, and infection control procedures. Prioritize and multitask laboratory tasks to meet operational demands.
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited medical laboratory technician or medical technologist program. Proven experience in microbiology, blood bank, and clinical tests. Proficiency in phlebotomy and blood bank testing. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
