About the role
- Experience in consultative sales or account management within real estate, energy, or related sectors, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Knowledge of commercial real estate operations, building systems, or energy efficiency measures, and interest in local emissions laws and sustainability practices.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value for clients.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, manage multiple accounts, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and basic data analysis to manage pipelines, forecast sales, and report on performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort working on-site in the New York City Metropolitan Area, including visiting client properties and attending in-person meetings.
- Prior experience with incentive programs, compliance frameworks, or energy project development is preferred but not required.
- Compensation Structure$60,000 base
- Uncapped commission tied directly to closed deals and ongoing project revenue
- On-target earnings of $150,000+ for consistent performers
- Clear performance-driven upside with the opportunity to grow economics over time
