Job Description:
  • Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYThe Composite Structure Technician I is a hands-on role, whose primary responsibility is to assemble and refurbish aircraft monument structures that meet company design specifications.
  • POSITION DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITESRead and interpret work instructions.
  • Perform aircraft monuments corrosion inspections
  • Corrosion surface preparation and maintenance.
  • Remove, treat for corrosion, and apply protective coatings.
  • Perform lamination of composite materials.
  • Assemble/disassemble composite structuresREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSHigh attention to detail 4-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance desired.
  • Hand dexterity/coordination: Job requires a lot of specific finger movements and hand layup techniques.
Organization: Must be able to keep track of various parts during process
Cleanliness: Parts can be sensitive to foreign materials, must be able to keep a clean workspace. Safety-Minded: Team needs people who are putting safety first and realize how important it is to take care around certain machinery/equipment. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent
