About the role
A national insurance provider seeking to expand its wholesale agency network is looking to fill the role of Wholesale Field Marketing Representative. This position involves visiting and building relationships with insurance agencies within a designated territory, promoting Property & Casualty products, and providing strategic marketing support. The role requires maintaining high product knowledge, fostering agency relationships, and identifying new business opportunities, all while supporting the company's growth objectives.
Responsibilities Conduct regular in-person or virtual visits with assigned agency partners to strengthen relationships and promote company products.
Prepare for agency meetings by analyzing production data, reviewing reports and customizing marketing materials to align with agency goals.
Monitor new binding activity and renewal retention rates across property and casualty lines for all assigned agencies.
Respond promptly to agent inquiries, providing solutions, product guidance and support to facilitate business submissions.
Maintain and increase product knowledge to effectively train agents on product features, online tools and new offerings.
Identify and communicate industry market trends, competitor actions, and coverage updates that may impact agency performance or company positioning.
Attend industry conventions and agency meetings, delivering presentations on new products and enhancements to increase awareness and engagement.
Assist in onboarding new agency partners through direct outreach and evaluation of potential agency compatibility.
Participate in ongoing training to improve marketing strategies, and maintain a comprehensive understanding of property and casualty insurance practices.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
3+ years of relevant experience in insurance or insurance marketing
Solid understanding of insurance terminology, coverage forms, endorsements and industry practices
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating tact and confidentiality
Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time within assigned territory
Salary Range The anticipated salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 annually. The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
