About the role

IT Vendor Manager / AV Vendor Management / Hybrid / New York City Our client is a leader in the fintech industry. They are looking to hire an individual to join their Enterprise Technology and Infrastructure team as an IT Vendor Manager. They’re looking for someone to own the operational side of the outside partner relationships: keeping contracts current, holding partners to their commitments, and making sure the business gets what it's paying for. You'll be the day-to-day point of contact between their partner ecosystem and the internal groups that depend on it (Workplace/Facilities, IT Engineering, Sourcing, and Legal). Your job is to turn contracts into accountable, measurable service, and to keep leadership informed on how each partner is performing.
Contract Duration: 1+
Years Required Skills & Experience: 4–6+ years in IT vendor management, partner operations, technology procurement, or a related contracts-focused role. Hands-on experience building and running supplier governance programs, including QBRs and scorecards. Working knowledge of enterprise IT and AV services, professional services engagements, and how SOWs are typically structured. Comfort reading and enforcing contract terms: milestones, deliverables, warranties, service credits, and commercial provisions.
Desired Skills & Experience: History of partnering with procurement, legal, and engineering teams to drive vendor accountability. Fluency with tracking and workflow platforms (Smartsheet, Jira, Google Workspace, procurement systems, or similar).Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior leadership.
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities: Run the governance cadence for our key technology and workplace partners: quarterly business reviews, recurring operational check-ins, and performance scorecards. Act as the internal owner for MSAs, SOWs, and service agreements, verifying that deliverables, milestones, and invoices line up with what was contracted. Track partner KPIs and SLA attainment, and lead resolution of escalations involving scope, delivery, service quality, or commercial terms. Coordinate with Sourcing, Procurement, Legal, and AV/Workplace engineering on renewals, change orders, scope changes, and the technical evaluation of RFP responses. Maintain a single source of truth for partner commitments, contract and maintenance expirations, open deliverables, and spend, using portfolio and workflow tools.
