About the role
Interior Designer St. Clair Kitchens is a boutique design firm located in Alexandria VA. While our core business focuses on kitchens and baths, we are expanding to offer full interior design services for the entire home. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a passion for design to join our team and hit the ground running. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.
Responsibilities:
Develop FF&E documents Prepare presentations (3D, 2D, mock-ups and renderings) for clients Making site visits prior to design and during installation Meeting with clients in-office and on-site as needed Helping clients with style, color and finish selections Assist in project management Create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant Qualifications 2-3 years of experience residential design. Proficient with Chief Architect Strong creative and communication skills Demonstrated ability to execute
