Media Links TV, LLC provides production and administrative support for information-based companies. Media Links TV, LLC serves CGTN America. CGTN America is an award-winning news organization that has been recognized for its high-quality, objective news coverage and programming. CGTN America in the Washington News Bureau for China Central Television (“CCTV”), which, through a division named the China Global Television Network (“CGTN”), offers multi-language news channel that is broadcast to over 100 English speaking countries, including the United States.
About the role:
We are searching for an experienced (5+years) Line Producer to work in New York, NY. as part of a highly motivated team made up of people from all over the world. Energetic and detail oriented, the ideal candidate will be tech savvy and be able to adapt to different and changing technical and editorial environments and demands. Problem solver with experience in a pressure-filled TV newsroom who is flexible enough to also produce for the web as needed. This role will focus on news coverage in the New York area and the United Nations.
Responsibilities:
International Line production experience building shows and taking them to air including breaking news Writing and editing the work of others Segment production including working for and with our global team of field reporters Ability to juggle multiple tasks and switch gears quickly including digital duties as assigned Candidate requirements: Knowledge of and interest in international news.
