About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead new product development and customer-driven projects within a highly regulated medical device manufacturing environment. This role will oversee projects from concept through commercialization, working closely with engineering, operations, quality, regulatory, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex product development projects, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams toward key milestones while maintaining customer satisfaction and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead multiple medical device product development projects from initiation through launch. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements. Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Sales. Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Facilitate project meetings and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders. Manage project scope, schedule, cost, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. Drive change management activities and ensure alignment with project objectives. Support process improvements and project management best practices.
Qualifications:
Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related technical field.5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, engineering, medical device, or a regulated industry. Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies. PreferredPMP certification or equivalent project management training. Experience within medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare manufacturing environments. Knowledge of design controls, product development processes, and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with Stage-Gate project management methodologies. Experience managing customer-facing projects.
