About the Role:
Cowboys Logistics is seeking a Sales Business Development professional to join our growing team. This individual is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate is competitive, self-motivated, and excited by the opportunity to make a direct impact within a growing organization.
Responsibilities:
Prospect and develop new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, networking, and relationship-building. Build and maintain relationships with customers and key decision-makers. Identify customer transportation needs and provide customized logistics solutions. Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from prospecting to onboarding. Negotiate pricing and service agreements. Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline activity. Collaborate with operations and leadership to ensure customer success. Monitor market trends and identify growth opportunities. Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term relationships. Meet and exceed individual sales goals.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales, business development, account management, or another customer-facing role preferred.
Required Skills:
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Competitive, self-motivated mindset. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience using CRM systems and sales tools. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, or supply chain. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Experience prospecting and developing new business. Experience managing and growing customer relationships.
