Radiology/Imaging - Special Procedures Join a leading cancer care program as a Medical Physicist for a 13-week assignment working day shifts with no weekends. The Physicist plays a critical role in supporting radiation oncology services by ensuring the safe and accurate delivery of radiation treatments. Working closely with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and Radiation Therapists, this position is responsible for treatment planning support, quality assurance, radiation safety, equipment calibration, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards while helping deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements: Master's Degree in Medical Physics or related field required Minimum 2 years of clinical/acute care Medical Physicist experience required Residency-trained candidates considered Strong knowledge of radiation oncology principles and treatment planning required Experience with quality assurance and calibration of radiation therapy equipment required Knowledge of radiation safety regulations and compliance standards required Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary oncology teams required
