About the role
Job DescriptionThe art director is a conceptual thinker and visual storyteller who can bring to life big ideas in simple, original and inspiring visuals/graphics.As the responsible lead for the development of all of the visual elements of an integrated marketing campaign, the art director collaborates with a diverse cross-functional marketing team in the conception, design and execution of all communications, online experiences and retail touchpoints. A creative problem solver who uses design principles and visual expressions to tell a brand story and sell products.Art direct, design and concept big ideas across all mediums, including print, OOH, online, digital, video, social, interactive, mobile, instore/experiential collateral materials; and all brand marketing communications. Use design and art direction to persuade and influence the customer experience of users both online and in branch. Present ideas in a clear and focused way that builds consensus within team members, partners and stakeholders.Works closely with the Creative Director to ensure the usefulness, consistency, brand relevance, and business value of creative elements. Assists leadership to establish goals, performance metrics, and growth matrixes for the department. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization's Values.Job RequirementsBachelor Degree in Art Design, Visual Arts, Creative Communications or equivalent. Minimum of five (5) years as an Art Director or similar type role. Minimum of three (3) years in graphic design. Experience and proficiency using creative design software with solid understanding and experience with Adobe Creative Suite. Able to articulate business concepts through art and design solutions. Consistently strive to create original, breakthrough work. Able to manage multiple responsibilities. Comfortable presenting ideas to key stakeholders. Strong communication and leadership skills.
