Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.4 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or a relevant advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with SQL and AI tools. Experience with Hardware Sales Finance and retail demand forecasting. Experience analyzing complex datasets to extract actionable insights and drive business decisions. Strong spreadsheet and financial modeling skills in Google Sheets, with experience running recurring monthly forecasting and reporting cadences. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex financial structures into clear insights for business partners. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. While working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to solve big picture challenges. As a Financial Analyst on the Sales Finance team, you will drive critical financial processes for Pixel phones one of Google's hardware product lines. In this role, you will be the dedicated financial owner of the global Pixel phone revenue outlook. You will lead global smartphone unit shipment and net revenue forecasting, drive in-depth variance analyses (FvA and FoF), support the Pixel Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and guide the weekly global Risk and Opportunity (R&O) cadence. You will partner closely with regional finance leads (AMER, EMEA, APAC) and Global Sales Operations to translate business momentum and promotional dynamics into accurate financial outlooks and actionable business insights. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $116000 - $166000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
Own global unit shipment (sell-in) and net business forecasting models. Partner with Global Sales Operations and Supply Chain to align on product life cycle (new product introduction, mid-lifecycle promotions, and end-of-life transitions).Facilitate the weekly Risk and Opportunity (R&O) process with regional Pixel finance leads across AMER, EMEA, and APAC.Monitor channel headwinds, promotional elasticity, supply constraints, and upside opportunities. Provide leadership real-time visibility into quarterly and full-year business trajectories. Prepare forecast versus actuals (FvA) and forecast on forecast (FoF) packages for the Pixel business. Highlight key market trends and drivers for Sales and Finance Vice President leadership. Act as a trusted partner to Global Sales and regional teams. Support annual goal-setting and multi-year long-range planning for the global Pixel smartphone line.
