About the role
- Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products.
- Inspect and test components, parts, tube details, and assemblies to validate conformance to blue prints and instructions by customer and to company operating
- Determines appropriate fittings (feeds and caps) to perform the test
- Lifts, positions, connects, disconnects, and removes work pieces from pressure test tank
- Performs testing based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our customers to ensure quality standards
- Utilize tank interlocks and all safety mechanisms
- Observe test, inspect for bubble formation, seepage, or water droplets
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
