Harvey Nash USA has been engaged to find a talented Product Designer for one of the world’s leading professional networking platforms. This is a hands-on product design role focused on creating intuitive user experiences, end-to-end user flows, design systems, and motion/animation, while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams. Job Title: Product Designer
Location: New York, NY – Hybrid (Tuesday–Thursday onsite)
Duration: 2+ Months with a strong possibility of extension Day-to-
Day Responsibilities:
Create holistic product design solutions that address user, business, and brand needs Design intuitive end-to-end user flows and product experiences Communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale, and user-centered design processes Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, UX Research, Marketing, and Data Science Work with developers and engineers to bring designs to life Contribute to and extend design system language and patterns Incorporate motion design and animation to enhance product interactions, usability, and storytelling Influence product decisions through strong design thinking and cross-functional collaboration Must-Have Skills 3+ years of experience in UX/Product Design Strong Figma experience Experience designing web and/or software products through the full product development lifecycle Strong understanding of interaction design and user flows Experience working with design systems Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to independently deliver small-to-medium-scale design projects Strong cross-functional collaboration skills Nice-to-Have 4–6 years of motion/animation experience Experience with Principle, Rive, or similar motion/interaction tools Experience extending design systems and component libraries Experience designing complex end-to-end product experiences Background working with large-scale consumer or enterprise products Application Requirement Candidates must provide a portfolio, website, or relevant work samples.
Compensation:
A reasonable, good-faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $70–$90/hr on W2, depending on experience and location.
