About the role
Smart Sand is seeking an experienced Mining Engineer to lead short- and long-term mine planning at our Oakdale, WI facility, with travel to Utica and Blair locations. You will develop plans for mining, tailings, and reclamation, and advise operations to maximize efficiency and sustainability. The role reports to the VP of Mining Operations and requires a strong background in CAD, GIS, and regulatory compliance, plus excellent communication and project management skills.
