About the role

You'll join a small R&D team and will take board level digital designs through the entire lifecycle: schematic capture, simulation and analysis, PCB layout, board bring up, and test. You'll see your boards produced and be delivered to customers - who will send them to space. This is a new role that's been created due to several large projects wins, if you want to, you'll have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and take ownership over projects / products as well. There's plenty of interesting technical challenges here for you to work on. They work on a hybrid basis- the site in the Herndon, Virginia, area, and you will be able to work from home twice a week if you want. The base salary is in the region of $160k - $200k dependent on experience, plus a bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
What you'll do: Take high speed digital boards from concept through to production Design hardware around FPGAs, CPUs, and microcontrollers Carry out design analysis for extreme / space environments Own the schematic capture and PCB layout Lead bring up and test efforts What you'll need 8+ years commercial experience on digital hardware High speed digital experience - including DDR, Ser Des, PCIe, or similar interfaces Track record of bring products from from paper to production Strong schematic, simulations/analysis, and layout experience To apply, please click below, or message me directly with any questions.
