About the role
- Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
- Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
- Recommend tests to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment
- Uphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the company’s ESG goals
- Other duties as assigned
- MD/DO from an accredited educational institutionBC/BE in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology, or Sports Medicine
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state work will be performed
- Favorable malpractice history
- Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificationDEA license
- Additional Skills/Competencies
- Ability to effectively interact with doctors, patients, and co-workers
- Tact and skill in patient management
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to mentor and supervise staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Medicine – Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures
- Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providingcustomer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
