Assembly Technician Insight Global is seeking an Assembly Technician to join a rapidly growing manufacturing team in Long Beach, CA. This individual will play a critical role in assembling complex electromechanical energy systems and supporting the production of critical power infrastructure equipment. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing environment, can interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work with strong attention to detail. This is a fully onsite position that requires close collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Control, and Test teams in a fast-paced production environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation to ensure accurate builds
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and measurement equipment to complete assemblies to specification
  • Perform visual inspections and basic functional checks prior to product handoff
  • Identify assembly defects, discrepancies, and design concerns and communicate findings to engineering teams
  • Partner with Quality Control and Testing teams to improve product flow and first-pass yield
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to manufacturing and safety standards
