About the role
Medical Billing Specialist We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to support our client's Chiropractic practice. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in end-to-end medical claims processing, proficiency with Chiro Touch EMR, and proven confidence handling phone-based billing inquiries via Intermedia phone systems with high accuracy and efficiency. While primary daily duties are focused on core revenue cycle management, light administrative support may be required to keep front- and back-office operations aligned.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Cycle Management: Prepare, scrub, and submit clean claims to primary and secondary insurance payers via Chiro Touch. Accounts Receivable & Denial Management: Review rejected or denied claims, investigate root causes, post EOBs/ERA adjustments, and submit appeals in a timely manner. Patient Communications: Field incoming patient billing questions and manage outgoing calls using the Intermedia VOIP phone platform. Insurance Verification & Authorizations: Confirm chiropractic coverage details, copays, deductibles, and pre-authorization requirements as needed. Administrative Support: Assist with routine practice administration, patient chart maintenance, and communication coordination across the team.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
