About the role

We're looking for a reliable and skilled Straight Truck Driver to enhance our team. Your main role is to drive safely and efficiently, ensuring the prompt delivery of goods while complying with safety and regulatory standards. You'll be operating a straight truck and focusing on delivering a great customer service experience, building strong relationships with each client.
Key Responsibilities: Adhere to all driving rules and regulations. Load and unload cargo safely. Ability to operate electronic logging device(ELD).Conduct vehicle inspections and prepare reports. Check shipping documents for special requirements. Secure and safeguard cargo. Use safety equipment during material handling. Keep the truck clean and well-maintained. Provide top-notch customer service during deliveries and pickups. Follow designated routes and schedules, obeying traffic laws. Undertake additional duties as needed.
Qualifications: A valid Class B driver’s license with a clean driving record. High school diploma. Minimum of 2 years driving experience. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Experience as a straight truck driver. Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD).Good physical condition for cargo handling. Knowledge of DOT regulations (beneficial).Operate a pallet jack. Hazmat certification is a plus. Must clear pre-employment drug and background checks.
Benefits and Compensation: $18.00 per hour. Health, dental, vision, and other insurance after 90 days. Paid Time Off and holidays. Career advancement opportunities.
Schedule: Full-time: Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
