About the role
- ProductionPick and group (palletize) all types and sizes of materials coming out of the machines
- Assemble boxes and power packs before and during production runs
- Read and follow instructions in the work orders (job jackets)
- Enter work information into the PSI system at the start and end of each job
- Stock the work tables with necessary materials (pallets, tape, load tickets, ties, etc.)Keep the work area clean and organized
- Perform routine maintenance tasks:
- Clean machines using an air hose
- Clean air pump filters
- Lubricate machines and sweep floors as needed
- Mix and refill marking systems with water as needed
- Move materials to designated locations using pallet jack or forklift
- Work overtime and weekends as production needs require
- Quality Control
- Review and understand work instructions before starting
- Maintain quality standards throughout the production process
- Get work approved by a supervisor or lead operator
- Minimize material waste
- QualificationsEducation and Experience
- High school diploma (preferred)
- Ability to read and write to understand work instructions
- Up to one month of related experience or training (preferred)
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Basic mechanical knowledge (desirable)
