At Lactalis, our core values of AMBITION, ENGAGEMENT, and SIMPLICITY are at the heart of everything we do.If you're looking for a unique experience with a company that offers strong brands, professional expertise, and a dynamic work environment that champions entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on responsibility, and real opportunity for career development, we want to hear from you!Lactalis Heritage Dairy: inviting you to share with us your STORY, your PASSION, and your EXPERTISE.From your PASSION to oursResponsible for leading four direct reports, three Customer Category Managers (CCM), and a Senior Sales Analyst, the Customer Business Lead (CBL) is also responsible for delivering volume, revenue, and gross profit results across your assigned Customer.The CBL and their team are responsible for understanding their assigned Customers' specific business needs and are ultimately accountable for pricing, shelving, merchandising, and distribution execution.From your EXPERTISE to oursKey responsibilities for this position include:Lead assigned sales team in the development and delivery of the sales plans, ensuring growth targets are met. Manage and support the assigned sales team, including time spent in the field meeting with customersBuild and execute strategies and plans to grow the business in the regionDevelop an in-depth understanding of customers' needs and priorities (KPIs, business/category goals, etc.)Develop sales/account plans to meet customers' objectives while operating within corporate initiatives and guidelines (i.e., customized SKUs, operational targets, etc.)Leverage internal LHD resources (category management, sales finance, shopper marketing, etc.) to drive successBuild and maintain relationships with key customer representativesOversee the development and delivery for all customer presentationsOversee the management of customer P&Ls; achieve financial targets with customers – growth rates, trade rates, etc.Oversee trade spending & promotional programsProvide key inputs for demand planning & the S&OP processProvide category thought leadership and insights from customer to drive both category and growthDevelop high functioning team through recruitment, talent assessment, coaching/mentorship, constructive and timely feedback, and the establishment of actionable development plans for direct reportsPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsFrom your STORY to oursQualified applicants will contribute the following:5+ years in CPG sales account managementRecent experience with Kroger directly & 84.51 preferredExperience managing sales personnelStrong personal selling skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze data and create action planSelf-motivated, ability to operate independentlyExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraintsAbility to succeed in a collaborative team environmentAbility to adapt in a changing work environmentSolid working knowledge of computers and related systems including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to travel (up to 25%)Lactalis Heritage Dairy is an equal employment opportunity employer.
