Position Overview: As a Chemical Operator, you'll play a critical role in safely manufacturing chemical products while ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with GMP and OSHA standards. This is a hands-on position where you'll work with reactors, pumps, tanks, raw materials, and production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. No advanced chemistry knowledge is required. We're looking for individuals with some manufacturing or chemical experience who are eager to learn and grow. Key Responsibilities Operate reactors, pumps, tanks, and other production equipment Weigh, verify, and charge raw materials into production vessels Monitor manufacturing processes and adjust equipment as needed Transfer finished products into storage tanks and containers Complete batch documentation and production records accurately Follow GMP, FDA, OSHA, and company safety procedures Assist with product quality checks and process improvements Operate forklifts, lifts, and material handling equipment Help maintain inventory levels and production supplies Support chemists and engineers with manufacturing activities Maintain clean and organized work areas
What We're Looking For: Some experience in chemical manufacturing, batching, mixing, production, food manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or industrial operations Strong attendance and reliability Willingness to work a rotating 12-hour schedule Ability to work on your feet throughout the shift Comfortable lifting and moving materials as needed Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and enjoys learning Preferred Qualifications Forklift experience GMP experience Experience working with reactors, pumps, tanks, mixers, or production equipment Basic computer and math skills Schedule 12-Hour Rotating Shift Alternating 36-hour and 48-hour workweeks Day and night shift rotation Consistent full-time hours Overtime opportunities available Training Schedule (First 4-6 Weeks): Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Paid training at starting rate Growth Opportunity This company is known for promoting employees based on performance and initiative rather than years of service. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
