About the role
Supporting the payor contracting function, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Associate General Counsel will manage the full contract lifecycle, including negotiation and post-execution management of Medicare Advantage agreements, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
Negotiate and draft Medicare Advantage risk agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Review and maintain payor contract templates and assist with contract interpretation and management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial terms and support vendor contract negotiations
Required qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of transactional legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
Experience with healthcare payor contracting or value-based care arrangements
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law
Foundational knowledge of Medicare Advantage and healthcare regulatory requirements
Ability to draft and negotiate complex agreements and provide practical legal advice
