Job Description

Overview: Stevedore/Dock WorkerWe are currently seeking Stevedore Ground Operator/ Dock Worker to join our team. As a Stevedore Ground Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials in and outside of the ships, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting.

Location: Detroit/ Ecorse, Michigan

Pay: $18.00-$19.00

Duties:

Unload and load cement bags, including receiving, storing, and distributing of other products
Ensure OSHA compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy of orders
Operate clamp trucks, to load and unload materials
Conduct order picking and packing as needed

Skills: Ability to lift heavy bags for 10+ hours
